Call for Submissions: Youth Issue February 2, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ali McCart @ 10:38 pm

Ink-Filled Page is accepting fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and artwork submissions for its annual Youth Issue through February 28. We seek unique voices from grades six to twelve; we want those looking to develop their talent.

Selected authors and artists earn publication and will receive a complimentary copy of the annual anthology when it is released in October 2010. Contributors will also go into a drawing for two $25 iTunes gift cards. Send us your work for a chance to win!

Last year’s issue exhibited themes ranging from the life and struggle of an orange and an attempt to write letters to the dead to a girl abandoned in a house of guilt and memories. This year, we’re accepting poetry submissions for the first time. All genres are welcome. We are especially drawn to material that highlights the human experience, that connects us human-to-human.

We want to witness the dreams and creations of the budding generation. These are the voices and visions that will help shape our world. We look forward to your submissions. If you are interested in submitting your original, unpublished work, please read the submissions guidelines.
